Webinar Recording: What Technology Transfer Offices should know about the BIC Biomarker Commercialization Tools

27-05-2021

The BIC-BRIDGE consortium, together with EATRIS (the European infrastructure for translational medicine), organised a webinar on the biomarker commercialisation process targeting Technology Transfer Offices (TTO) on 3 June 2021 at 14:00 CEST.

During the webinar, the ‘BIC GUIDE’ was presented, which is a support tool or biomarkers commercialisation that guides the user through the discovery and innovative process, integrating not only technical and clinical tasks, but also commercial and regulatory considerations.

The BIC toolset also includes a ‘Best Practices Handbook’ based on experiences from TTOs in the field, a ‘Review Tool for TTOs’ and a ‘Guide for Regulatory Process’. The toolset has been created in the BIC project, which is funded by the Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme, and it is available for free here: https://biomarker.nu/

The webinar also presented a new proposal: the European Biomarkers Accelerator Fund.
