Ideklinikken offers professional sparring and advice for qualifying ideas within the health professional area and also contributes to the ideas being realized and possibly patented.

Ideklinikken is an innovation unit under Aalborg University Hospital and the North Denmark Region. Our overall purpose is to help ensure that good ideas are collected, concretized, tested and possibly realized.

We receive all kinds of issues, ideas and inventions from clinical and administrative staff at the hospitals as well as from patients and relatives. In order for us to use the idea, it must be able to solve a problem or improve the everyday lives of patients or hospital staff. A good idea can be, for example, in the form of a new product, improved workflows, or the commercialization of research-based projects.

We are well equipped to take care of the good ideas and follow them right to the door. Our employees are specialists in their respective fields - from idea generation and project development, industrial design to business law and commercialization.
