The BIC project was present at the NLSDays 2019

The BIC project was present at the Nordic Life Science Days in Malmö, Sweden. Participants had the chance to check out the project and the BIC MasterTool at the BIC exhibition booth.

"At NLSDays last week, there was a lively seminar about the Nordic life science innovation landscape. The scenery of this landscape is changing rapidly due to digitalisation, blockchain, the sharing economy and crowd power among a long list of things. The takeaway message was to not be overwhelmed by the pressure of this change, because – and this has quite a philosophical side to it – nothing is permanent, and especially not products or technology. Practical advice for addressing change was to make good use of health technology assessments (HTAs) and to address questions about market access right from the invention phase. The panel also discussed trying different business models in different cases, because to keep evolving in life science we need to collaborate across traditional borders." And that's what BIC stands for: a transnational cooperation of research and cluster organizations to support the various phases of biomarker commercialization!
