London calling...

Written bySusan Raths (Ph.D.)

On 3rd and 4th October the "Biomarker and Companion Diagnostics Conference" took place in London, UK and the BIC project was also represented with a presentation on the current status of the project activities.

The event "Biomarker and Companion Diagnostics Conference" addressed the gaps between early stage biomarker development and the commercialization stage of biomarkers. Regarding commercialization of biomarkers, leading industry and academic experts shared their case studies and experiences.

The conference participants were introduced to the project results at the BIC booth and during the presentation, held by Valérie Daussin Laurent (Ideklinikken, Aalborg University Hospital, The North Denmark Region) . Besides the general interest for the project, there was a lot of positive feedback for the design and content of the BIC MasterTool and the other project archievements (e.g. BIC BestPracticeHandbook, BIC ReviewTool for TTOs, BIC Regulatory Guide).

The outputs will be available soon.

Stay tuned!
