BiC tools are ready for testing
The BIC consortium drafted a tool to support biomarker commercialization. The pilots aim to test the BIC tools against a subset of intended target groups (researcher, TTOs, SMEs), to capture a wider range of user experience and to collect feedback and suggestions for improvements.
The Interreg Baltic Sea Region (Interreg BSR) project BIC (Biomarkers Commercialization) aims to compile knowledge about and experience with biomarkers. It creates a synergetic standardization of biomarker development and implementation to bridge the biomarker discovery with their clinical application.
The main object of BiC is the development of a platform that provides new tools to support the different phases of a new commercialization process, assessing the maturity level, emphasizing the industry expectations.
The pilots aim to test the BIC tools against a subset of intended target groups (researcher, TTOs, SMEs), to capture a wider range of user experience and to collect feedback and suggestions for improvements.
The pilots are planned and executed to get a better understanding of how the tools will be used by the target groups and to refine them based on feedback from the pilot sites.
The costs for travel or workshops related to the piloting of BIC tools are fully covered by the BIC project.
A reimbursement of personnel costs incurred by the BIC piloting is not possible.
Comprehensive information for the piloting of BIC tools, as well as all other relevant documentation on the various project outputs can be found to the right.
Do you want to be part of the testing panel?
Interested academic researchers, small or medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), technology transfer offices (TTOs) or other relevant stakeholders will be able test the tools.
